A kinetic art craftsman from (Argentina) gives life to his creations through a daring mixture of technology and classical craftsmanship. Driven by manual force, his wooden objects and characters apostatize from their static condition and give themselves to movement.Lavezzari seeks and finds his public´s feelings. In adults he provokes his artistic object´s appretiation as such and the nostalgia for their childhood´s toys; in children, a fascination for the movements and the power to obtain them by operating a lever or a handle. His relationship with art begins in his childhood, at the Puppeteer´s School, in Tucumán. As a teenager he became a member of the UNIMA (International Puppeteer´s Union). In 1987 he meets a new passion: television. In a Córdoba Channel he performs first as cameraman and then as cameras director. In 1995 he starts the manufacture of camera support equipment (robotic headset cranes and stabilizers).In 1998 he feels the drive to go back to art, without setting aside the knowledge he had obtained about mechanics and robotics.Through that fusion “Kinetic Dreams” is born: an aesthetic search in objects expressed in a language that he calls “medieval robotics”.His works have been exposed in several places of Argentina and in some Spanish cities.In 2005, 180 Master Craftsmen gave him the Title of “Great Master Craftsman 2005”, a prize to be added to several ones obtained in former years in Argentina and Spain.
Artista cinético Argentino, anima sus esculturas en una atrevida mixtura de tecnología y artesanía clásica. Impulsados a tracción manual, los objetos y pesonajes de madera reniegan de su estaticidad y se entregan al movimiento.
Lavezzari procura y encuentra las sensaciones de su público. En los adultos provoca la apreciación del objeto artístico como tal y la nostalgia de sus juguetes infantiles y en los niños la fascinación por el movimiento y el poder de generarlo con sólo una manija o un botón.
Comienza su relación con el arte desde niño, en la Escuela de Marionetistas de Tucumán. En su adolescencia ya era miembro de UNIMA (Unión Internacional de Marionetistas).
En el año 1987 conoce una nueva pasión: la televisión. En un canal de Córdoba se desempeña como camarógrafo y luego director de cámaras.
En 1995 emprende como independiente la construcción de equipos soporte para cámaras (grúas con cabezal robótico y estabilizadores).En 1998 se despierta en él la necesidad de regresar al arte, sin abandonar los conocimientos adquiridos sobre mecanismos y robótica.De aquella fusión nace "Kinetic Dreams", una búsqueda estética a la que un reportero Español, luego de una entrevista, denominó “robótica medieval”.
